Tarot Spread – Before Bed

The end of the day can be such a relaxing time to pull cards. Releasing the energy we've been carrying, reflecting on what happened, tuning into our emotions... And what a better way to do all of that than with tarot!

How have I never done a night time spread before?! To be quite honest I rarely pull tarot cards to finish my day. I start with them, pull them during the day, and sometimes even in the evening but rarely ever do I pull right before bed.

When I first started to learn tarot I would always pull in the morning and at night. I had a lovely ritual going but as these things happen, my routine changed and I completely stopped pulling before bed. I want to start bringing the nighttime pulls back again so I decided to share the spread that I’ve been doing with you guys.

  1. Is this spread with mayor or minor arcana? Thank you so much <3

I use both but you can do whatever you feel guided! Major, minor, both or even oracle cards will work perfectly.

  3. I do my tarot right before bed. I’m fairly new to reading and decided this could be fun practice and see what happenes. So i did it and my last card’s caption was wake-up and it had some birds and nature and what have you for imagery. It meant Wake Up! I was dreaming and suddenly a huge nasty face jumps at/through me and i wake up nearly screaming and my poor puppy who sleeps next floor down but positioned under my bed, woke up too. Sooo scared she’d puked and messed herself and it took 2 hours to calm her down completely. Now I’m afraid to do this spread again for what might happen if I do. Any thoughts??

Did you try this spread? What did you think?
